Taking the Exams

HOW DOES THE PROCESS WORK?

Enrol in a Learning Program

Candidates for the GIAM qualifications enrol in a program for their selected level, with one of our learning partners who offer on demand and online programs worldwide.

Complete Learning Credits

Complete the courses and credits for your chosen qualification program. On completion, your tutor will arrange your registration and schedule your examination.

Register and Take Exam

Your examination is administered by the Institute of Accredited Managers, and is taken online. Examination results are available immediately on completion.

Gain and use your Certification

On passing your examination, you will be awarded GIAM Certification, issued digitally for sharing on LinkedIn and other media to support your career progression.

Exam Results and Grading

The pass-mark for all GIAM examinations is 50%. Candidates receive immediate pass or fail results on-screen and by email. Candidates will be sent detailed feedback that highlights strengths and weaknesses in specific content areas is sent by email after grading (2 weeks after the test). Candidates who do not pass the exam can use this feedback to help them address areas of weakness, and prepare to retake the exam.

Admissions and Eligibility

To be eligible for the examination for your chosen level of certification, an applicant must demonstrate completion of the learning credits for the level. This will be confirmed by your learning provider. To gain admission to a learning program, your learning provider will ask you to demonstrate appropriate prior learning,  and / or management experience.
